So ummm... I consider myself to be a very perceptive and intuitive person where people are concerned. I can usually tell by the way someone answers the phone whether they are tired, fed up, feeling sick or really happy, There is a guest at my guest house who practices reflexology (whats the ajoining verb for reflexology actually? Does one practice, perform or do it?). She has given 2 treatments to one of the other guests. One of which happened last night and lasted almost two hours. The guest fell asleep on the reflexologists bed where the session took place and emerged looking high on dopamine. So I jokingly said (although I kinda meant it) that I would have to book an appointment. I LOVE reflexology see. Anyway, the guest reflexologist looks a bit uncomfortable and mumbles something about having a particular way of working... blah blah.. and maybe... blah blah... I take her cue that she has no inclination to touch my feet (which by the way are clean and very pretty) and laughingly say something to let her know that there is no pressure and she doesnt have to do anything she doesnt want to. I also continue by sharing my freshly made and very delicious aubergine, pine nut and plum relish with her and she loves it. All is forgotten and although I secretly live in hope I hold no malice and respect her wishes. I dont do anything I dont want to either and have no problem making that clear to people. Anywaaaayyyyyy, today she comes to my room and gives me her book on reflexology and some pointers on how to do it on MYSELF! She even goes as far as going to the cutlery drawer and taking out the honey stick with its blunted end and some other wooden utensil with a pointier end and demonstrates to me how it can be used on the various reflexology points. My question is this people; How much does this mean that she REALLY wants NOTHING whatsoever to do with my feet? I mean I know I previously mentioned my innate skills of perception but her signals are all over the place and Im a bit confused. :/ Disclaimer numero uno: My feet are bloody beaut, do not smell and are regularly pedicured by the VERY experienced and talented Monica of Independéncia Street, San Telmo, Buenos Aires. Disclaimer numero dos: This is a tongue in cheek account purely for fun. No one needs to try to make me feel better. Im fine. It just struck me as rather comical so I wanted to share. :D
