So very frustrated and done dealing with Penticton Honda in the future for car and vehicle purchases. Bought a car own it for 5 months and theres an issue with it. Take it in twice they keep claiming nothing is wrong, yet write on a service order that there is a concern with a part that should be replaced. August, issue is compounding and is affecting cars performance. Take it in for the 4th time, they diagnose it and tell us that it is a simple part replacement. Of course I bought the platinum protection warranty package. BUT! BOOM warranty company wants $150 deductible to replace the part. Fine no problem as the part and labour was in or around $1000. Happy to save money. Well...issue wasnt fixed. In fact it only got worse. Turns out (are ya ready for this) they used an after market part as replacement, ended up blowing compressor lines and more. Now this is seriously affecting fuel economy mileage and is causing the engine to work double time thereby doubling the amount of inevitable wear and tear. Finally reach Honda, tell me they need to replace EVERYTHING involved including pump compressor lines condenser and 3 belts. Cost you ask? well it should be covered under the warranty right? Nope. because they only fixed 1 part and with an after market part, the warranty company will NOT uphold the contract and will not pay for the fix. Total cost, over $400 for labour over $500 for parts and regulatory fees, not including the taxes. But theyll cover the cost of labour Now here is the kicker, had they just replaced the entire issue like they said they would have and wrote they should have, it would have only cost the initial $150. Now we are on the hook for the $150 initially paid to deductible, but also almost $600 to replace the exact same issue they said theyd fixed initially. Seriously just ranting here but I know I am not the only one thats had an issue like this. not looking for sympathy but seriously, get your shit together. because you cut corners the first time youre making us pay again and telling us that its this or nothing. So very very angry right now. 5 weeks before Christmas Ho Ho holy f**k Honda get your sh*t together because I am not purchasing another vehicle from you.
