So we are all sat in the dark. Now just imagine being 19yrs old, miles away from home, scared half to death and the big guns thumping shells into the enemy lines. Its cold, wet and your clothes are caked in mud and riddled with lice. Your boots are soaked through because youve been stood in mud for days. You cant strike a match to light a fag because the enemy snipers will pick you out. In 5 hours time the whistles will sound and you are going to fight your way through mud, barbed wire, rotting bodies and a hail of bullets........now thats a sacrifice.......makes our daily moans seem pathetic in comparison doesnt it ?
