So, we are on our trip to see fall colors up in the Hudson Valley. So far we went to the Diana Krall concert, and traversed the Hudson River Walkway. This is a footbridge that goes all the way across the Hudson River! It is 1.3 miles long. It was really cool to stand over the middle of the Hudson River and see the fall colors. Then we headed over to Woodstock to channel our inner hippie spirit. We ate at a top rated vegan restaurant for lunch (we are not vegan, we just thought wed be adventurous). And, of course we had those cupcakes from a bakery called Peace, Love and Cupcakes Everything is working out ok! Originally we had planned to visit the FDR home and museum, Vanderbuilt Mansion and go on a West Point tour. But, because of the government shutdown, all these things are closed. So we are winging it. Maybe a small local vineyard tomorrow.....
