So....we decided to run to the Shell station for ice cream. We were gone 10 minutes, tops.... in that time, theyve now set a Public Storage and Little Ceasers on fire...a meat market is beginning to burn....Walgreens was looted....the protesters and police are facing off in the middle of the I-44 Expressway near us. We ran into a couple Cops at the gas station. The look on their faces...theyre beyond nervous. I told them I was sorry this was happening. She looked at me and said Im sorry too... Anxiety in her voice.
