So we have been up since 6 Am managing pain for Lulu Ysarua Martinez...feel like a pill dispenser today...had to write a chart to keep all the meds straight...we have terrible mouth sores coming...she had them by day 3 after chemo which is fast and dr perkins said she is super sensitive to chemo and that it is bad but good...means she is responding to the meds and it is killing her cancer but also means alot of mouth sores...we are rinsing and numbing the mouth as much as we can...her throat is swollen and she is very hoarse from the breathing tubes so she has to yell to talk...her surgery sites look good and healing so far so good on those...her joint pain and back pain are ridiculous so keeping her on schedule with pills has been helping...Thanks to her sisters and Kari Meek for helping me in lifting and assisting her around....hoping to get to bed early because im exhausted...like whooped...we have to go to clinic tuesday and thursday and friday and monday...and thats as long as we get no fever over 101.5....so...hope all enjoyed your mothers day if you were a mother...I had my MOM badge on and reported to duty!!!!
