So we have some news for everyone that doesnt already know. Weve hurt some people in the decision and that was never our intention. This is meant to sum it up for everyone. Im madly in love with my husband. From the beginning of our relationship Ive only been able to enjoy my stepdaughter a tiny little bit. Ive tried building a relationship with her through the miles but without being able to do more things and spend more time together we will never achieve what I have in mind. The relationship I have with my stepson has been strained to say the least and he went early this year to stay with family in upstate NY. Hes grown a lot and while he has a lot more growing to do, he is thriving with family so close to him and time spent with his cousins. Ive watched both Bryan and Taylors hearts breaking as we part from the few trips we see her. For a long time, his family wasnt really sure how to accept me. Thats been really hard. I can say with a huge burden lifted that his family has found it in their heart to love my country self. This trip has shown me that my husbands heart is and always will be where mine now is... Long story short, as soon as we find financially possible, Im taking a huge leap and trusting my faith in both life and marriage and we are moving to a place where my husband has his children, his beautiful mother, his siblings... If this upsets you I apologize. My husband is a retired combat vet and hes spent his whole life serving everyone else. He deserves a retirement in which he is completely happy, one where his family is now complete. Its HIS turn to be happy.
