So we picked this up in the 4X4 community forum. And were really chuffed. My 10c worth regarding the content, what seems to be lacking is passion (not 100% sure its the right word..). I think theres quite a few developments/ contentious issues going on in the 4x4 market that 4x4 owners would want to know about or should be told, and theres these regurgitated press releases throughout both. I also get the feel that some of the journalists try the Jeremy Clarkson thing a bit too much, write columns that are badly-researched, or are continually bemoaning driving vehicles they will never afford..its depressing reading! Now compare those to two other locally produced mags - Enduro World (about dirt bikes and adventure bikes) and Land Rover Africa. Both have stacks of interesting articles, local content, interesting how-to stuff...but are produced with some passion. To our readers and dare we say fans (ladies, please. While posting us your knickers as a token of respect for our cool articles is appreciated, its really not necessary) we are as passionate about the Land Rover brand as you are. We will never pass off a regurgitated press release as journalism. Your support is both humbling and amazing. Thank you.
