So we went out last night to scout for some antelope. We come up on 6 of them laying right on the edge of a big field. So I thought I see just how bad they could outrun my horse. I approached them so I could push them north out on to the field...and the race was on. They had a pretty good jump on me, but to my amazement, Seven gained ground on them the whole way across the field. I actually caught up to them where I was gonna turn them and circle them to the left. The only problem was wed already gone well over a quarter mile and Seven was running out of steam. So I picked him up to a walk with a huge smile on my face. Weve got a great chance today to catch one, now that I see they didnt just smoke me last night. So...let the adventure begin this morning.
