So we went to Charles new civilian primary care physician this afternoon and upon explaining his pain symptoms and recent ER visit she was beside herself as to why he had not been admitted already. According to her, if he had gone to a civilian hospital ER and said he was experiencing numbness in both legs and had it confirmed with an MRI, they would have set him up for surgery immediately. Im so glad hes back into civilian medical care. Next up is Tampa Laser Spine Institute on Friday....fingers crossed hes a candidate for the procedure, they can fit him in this month, and we can avoid the ER (emergency surgery) til then. Im not a religious person but those of you that are, please pray for him. He has faith and could use the positive vibes. :-)
