So went to the farmers market on Military Road at Semaphore today. Usually I get basics from Coles ( potatoes, onions etc) and the rest from a fruit & veg place. This generally costs about $80.00 per week. Today for $48.00 I got, 2 large Fennel, bunch Leeks, bag of Brussel Spouts ( i know what was I thinking, but I reckon I can make em tasty), 500g strawberries, bag of apples, hand of bananas, large bag of Swiss Browns, Cucumber, 5 kg potatoes, 8 kg Onions, large bag of Capsicum and an Avocado. As the onions and potatoes will last a bit longer than a week ( i hope) this was a ripper deal. Woohoo.
