So, were at the end of our adventure. In the first place I, Jerome, would love to use this moment to thank everyone. In the first place the distributor of Belgium, GKS. Thanks Koen for giving us the opportunity! And then, in the second place I would love to thank all the drivers and mechanics! Both did a WONDERFUL job! We managed it to achieve one of the BEST results ever of Belgium! We are the 4th best nation worldwide! And this is all because of our teamwork, our team spirit and the results of our drivers. Almost every session we were in top 15! It is insane what we showed here. Big up to our drivers! The overall results of our adventure: Junior Max: - Max Timmermans: 3th - Deniz Beckers: 6th Senior Max: - Dylan Lahaye: 32th - Vincent Jewell: 65th DD2: - Xen De Ruwe: 11th - Mathias Detige: 19th - Barrie Pullinger: 67th DD2 Masters: - Christophe Adams: he should be 4th but he is disqualified for the most stupid thing ever. It was a crazy week and we had so much fun. I hope I will see everyone next year in one of our championships! And also a big up to our fans! We were with 60-65 in Valencia! Awesome to be with so many guys here! And then I still want to tell what happened with Christophe Adams. After a wonderful final he managed it to finish 4th. He drove such an awesome race. You should have been here! But after the race he was called to go to the Technical Scrutineering. Cause the guy who finished 2nd did an appeal concerning a washer that wasnt correct of 2 drivers: the pole and Adams. So the TC made a report that he didnt had the right washer on his additional seat support. He needs to mount a washer of 40mm and Adams had a washer of 35mm! And for this unbelievable stupid reason, he is disqualified! UNBELIEVABLE and very low of such a world driver, Mikko Laine. And so Adams and the pole (Martin Pierce) were disqualified and Mikko Laine became the new World Champion. In our opinion he stole the title from Martin Pierce but were not going to say anything about it. It is very disappointing for our Adams who did a great race. And it is also very disappointing for Team Belgium. We were on the 2nd place in the Nations cup and now we finished 4th. So he also stole the title from Belgium... It was a smash in our face that we didn’t finished 2nd, cause it have been such a coronation for our team! But after all, it are just numbers… We know what we have done and we are proud of everything we have achieved! Thank you all and see you soon again! #KartingTeamBelgium
