So what does it mean when words of praise to the One True God, words that preclude that you use the voice and the mouth He created with the air He provides as a blessing of grace and of mercy, words that can only vaguely capture and convey the Spiritual and supernatural power that is His, are cut short and are rejected and refused by His created? As Paul says of those who have left God, "They worship the created rather than the Creator." Central is an appropriate moniker, for you are central in your own life, your own plans, in your own heart. God has sent you witness after witness to try to redeem you fixation on your own power and to rely on your first love, Him, your Redeemer, your Creator. But you have refused Him. And now His Hand will cover His glory from you and His glory will be shone where you are not. He will be as a stranger to you and you will see His power work around you but His glory will not touch you. And you will not repent for your heart is hard, harder than the heart of Pharaoh. Instead, you will receive the spirit of jealousy and seek to destroy and undo what He has done, but you will not succeed. Your hand will wither and your words will be bitter. And your works will be spoiled and rotten before they leave your lips. But if you abandon your old ways and turn from your own wisdom, He will restore you to Himself and you will be made new. 100 days. This is what the Lord says.
