So whats this about no unapproved flyers on the public bulletin boards in town? Like the one the Friends of Menotomy financed and built 15 years ago at Menotomy? I went up tonight and saw it had been stripped bare. Nothing there, not even the laminated invasive plant identification sheet that the Friends put up, or the local childrens theater announcement, or the concerts to benefit the Food Pantry. Not exactly offensive stuff. Bulletin boards are part of of community life, a place where people stop and read and chat with each other; share happenings and news, tack up lost gloves and keys, post flyers about causes and events. Whats going on? Is it time for a little civic dialog on this?
