So, when God decided to make me Queen of the neighborhood outdoor pets, shouldnt he have given me some inclusions? Like a castle... with guards? This is ruining my life. But I dutifully take accountability of the needs that are shown before me. As a statistic, Id say I post 1/5 or 1/10 responsibilities that come my way. The women the most disgusting gossip girls I have ever met, and the men, which is consistant during my time in TR, want to be the hero, they wont help me get the responsible parties to do as they should- like the belediye, giving me no useful ways to resolve things on my own. There is a big dog in the nieghborhood named Martin. Martin occupies a patch on the strip where the second hand furniture places are, and the men take care of him so he is like an untrained house dog, instead of an outdoor dog. Completely harmless but likes his own territory, barks at other dogs, and ONLY listens to these men, nobody else. He has stalked my home for the last two days, keeping Raso and I confined to our house. He started to do this thanks to another dog, Goldie, who is a house dog, and whose owners allow the dog to run everywhere. This dog has come up and crawled in between me and another person on the bench of i.e.t.t, totally unaware that he is being rude, he has followed me from Kucukyali to Bostanci Sahil and down to Idealtepe Sahil and back to my home... which is where Goldie and Martin met. Two boys and 1 girl pup = disaster. In front of the home, even coming into the bahce the dogs play fought - but the sorta fighting where someone actually gets hurt, but noone takes offense. This continued because Goldie has no social manners whatsoever. She wont leave. In my neighorhood the men like to foster the dogs, but they are not good men. For instance- one man who is security at the middle school, harbors about 5 of them, and those pups will make you believe they will ripp your face off... they wont... but they are belediye dogs whom we can hear barking all night long as watch dogs, because thats what this man has made them out to be... once they escape, they are very beautiful and friendly- but they have lost their orientation for social living in the outdoors- having a learned behavior to react and respond to this man. I hate it. Mostly I hate that I dont have enough words- my words should be enough. But then here is Turkey and every resolution seems to only follow a shameful argument. Today, while trying to let Raso go to the bathroom and fighting off Martin, this beautiful kitten decided to ignore the two dogs, and follow me, jump on me. There are 30 ppl who take care of these cats, food and water bowls everywhere (tho empty at this time of the morning), there are 100s of cats in my neighborhood, and many surrounding this kitten, but she was following ...ME. She followed me down the stairs. I put Raso in the house, and she meowed and sat herself down on a stair in the sunshine...waiting. the only acceptable food I had was Lor peynir, super moist, so I thought this was good. I had watched the kitten try and eat the dried food stains on a plate, so I knew she was starving. Shes tiny, she needs to be milked for several more weeks I think, but she ate that peynir and drank her water... and I left her like this.... and she came back to me...a block away. and Poor Raso... distressed as ever, being quiet, patient, and resilliant despite the circumstances. And my neighbors... who are waiting for a rational reason to object my staying here... are happier than ever. Raso would love a cat friend, and if I could get her from wildy playing with it in the house, Id accept her inside. As the queen I Should have knights fighting these battles no? Where are my knights? *sigh*... after the exhaustion from yesterday I hope for a good day. I have to get out and organize for the pups, and apparently this babe kittkn, before I leave tomorrow for 4 days- which is my max number of days I can leave before puppy world in the hood explodes.
