So, wow! What a few days. Having walked from Manchester to just past Buxton last Friday, we were joined by a host of people on a wet and overcast Saturday morning, to walk the Tissington trail to Ashbourne. Sunday was drier and one of the best days of the whole walk so far. Friends and family joined us on the 17mile walk from Ashbourne to Anslow and we were met by even more well wishers at the end of the day in the Bell Inn. We have to say a massive thank you to all of you that either joined us on the walk, came to the cake sale at the Horse yard or met us at the end of the day for a pint. A special thank you must be said to; Danny from the 99 Station Street Restaurant, for bringing us his AMAZING pulled pork sandwiches. Jo and all the Girls at the Holmes Scropton equestrian centre for organising the cake sale, which not only raised £240 to go towards our total, but also meant that we could experience the full joy of riding a horse. And also to Kevin and Jo at the Bell Inn, for providing everyone with the food and drink. Monday was our day off and today we walked along the canals from Burton to Curdworth calling in on St Giles Hospice along the way for tea and cake. Believe or not but this week we will hit the 600 mile mark and head into the Cotswolds. Weve been blown away by your support so far, but we still have a long way to go, both in terms of walking and fundraising. So if you havent already, then please visit our justgiving page or tell others that may be interested by what were doing here. All the best. T and P justgiving/45degswest
