So, yesterday I had a major breakthrough in one of our Lyceum project ideas. I finally received a call back from an awesome young lady who gave me a bunch of information on how to go about setting up a community garden on West 34th. It will still be a long process and a bunch of hoops to jump through, but the high note on this is that it is very doable. Everyone who wants to volunteer time and labor to this project, I will keep you informed as events unfold. I am super excited about this. I truly feel like this is an opportunity for many of us who have lived in that neighborhood to give people a reason to start taking pride in their community. I know it will be a struggle at first, but I truly feel this can be a turning point to help that area become safe again Please keep an eye out for an update soon. I will be diving into research and information gathering over the next few days and will want to set up a meeting time for everyone that would like to be involved with this so as to start a clear & focused path to success
