So yesterday, I lost both my FitBit One and my car keys during a 3 mile walk. I wound up retracing my steps not once but twice desperately looking for both- no luck either time. I messaged FitBit (whose customer support is GREAT by the way) who gave me the heads up today on an app that could help locate Bluetooth devices, wished me luck in finding it and told me to contact them if I wasnt able to find within the next day or so. Thanks to the app (LightBlue for those who are curious) and the kind couple whose home the LightBlue went off at, Im now reunited with both my FitBit and the missing car key! The husband tipped me off to a recent neighborhood message board post about a lost key so I was able to then retrieve it from the neighbor who found it. I joked with the FitBit support team that it would have been a record breaking day on the FitBit if I had managed to keep it on since I wound up walking over 9 miles when all was said and done yesterday. Le sigh! Alls well that ends well fortunately.
