So, yesterday Im walking to a local restaurant to join a friend for lunch and l trip on an uneven sidewalk seam. Using my hand to help block my fall, I hit the concrete hard on the left side of my face. FortunateIy my glasses took the brunt of the hit to my face or l believe the damage would have been worse. My gratitude to the three passersby who pulled over to help me. Later that day l ended up in the ER with what possibly was a broken wrist. Thank God its just a sprain. So today I have a black eye, a tiny scrape on my nose, my cheek is tender, a chipped tooth, my wrist is in a brace and theres a little scrape on my knee. Sounds worse than it actually is. Im a little sore but otherwise fine. No work for me today. This is NOT how I like to spend my time off!
