So you all know that Yogi is pretty nonchalant, quiet and reserved right? Well, him and a couple of his teammates decided theyd ask the girls who they chose to go to homecoming (theme - Aladdin) with in a unique way.. So, he asked me if he could do work around the house to earn some money to pay for everything. (Im teaching him to be a man and work for what he wants - cause nobodys gone give you nothing!).. So he worked and earned some cash, they all met up here, then took the bus to several stores and met back here. (He kept texting me different flower arrangements asking me to pick one and how much should he spend.. Made me feel special!) Anyway, they made posters and set up the flower arrangements. The next day (yesterday) they held the posters up for each other that asked the girls to be their dates and then handed them the bouquet of flowers! I had yogi to have someone record his, but he wont send it to me cause he said he knows Ill post it on Facebook! So yall blow his phone up and ask him to post the video!!!!! Its so cute! Lesson #1 - he worked for what he wanted. Lesson #2 - the company he keeps... Respectful, responsible, smart, athletic gentlemen. Lesson #3 - he got out of his comfort zone, followed through and now has a beautiful young lady to accompany him to his senior homecoming! #thankyoujesus #at17 - good, clean and honest fun #itcouldbeworse
