So youve got this perfectly made up bullet proof get back in shape - TopicsExpress

So youve got this perfectly made up bullet proof get back in shape plan ahead of you. And you are super excited. It happens to be friday too, so this will be the last weekend before its all hardcore right? Meaning, you take the opportunity to gorge on all the goodies throughout the weekend, because you know (read naively assume) that you will be fed up with it and long for diet food. Then comes the monday. You have it all dialed in: doing weights for an hour, all out, old school heavy and brutal. Cardio, yup that too. Of course on a separate time away from the weights since its more optimal. To be honest, you are really on to this being optimal. You are so willing to be optimal since losing an ounce of muscle scares the crap out of you. If other people wonder is there a life after this one you ask To be lean or to be massive, thats the question because I want it both. You plan your little lunch boxes and you chew down nasty boiled broccoli and chicken because thats what some pro told you to do right. And you drink mostly water and no diet drinks because they make you fat you heard. Almost getting crazy from abstaining sweet flavors, you dont want to catch cancer due to aspartame right? After a week, still going strong. You lost a few pounds. Feeling good. Then, BOOOM, you hit the no motivation dungeon. Oh yes, its there you bet, just waiting to bite your head off. You see chocolate bars raining from the sky, you feel like you have nothing worthwhile in your life, you feel like everyone else is much happier because they can eat whatever. And why go train, since you feel all weak anyway. Then your friends tell you you need to have a cheat day. Its good for you they claim. So you do, because THAT will REALLY motivate you to go balls to the walls again. It just happens that you make all promises when you are on a high from sugars and fats, so whatever you say in that condition means nothing. Its bull shit. We know that next week, after one week being good you will go there again. Its the typical yoyo dieting scenario. All I want to say with this is: stop trying to be so darn perfect. Stop looking for the perfect setup. Stop being in denial about easier times, more motivation, better focus. If you dont own it today you wont tomorrow. gotta start practicing! No beliefs are of any value if you dont become a pragmatic student. You are just as strong today as you will be tomorrow. Dont fool yourself. You may do everything right, but to reap the benefits and success you need to do everything pretty right almost all the time. And by that almost all the time I mean the only true excuse is total disaster hitting you. Anything else is doable. Or it takes VISA. haha, ok, the last one was just for fun:-)
