Social Media Intern-Karachi Green Crescent Trust – Karachi Green Crescent Trust (GCT) Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for Graduates and Undergraduates to gain practical experience while interning for one of the organizations dedicated to empower children through education and engaged in community outreach efforts. Internees will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, which provides valuable work experience and leadership skills. At GCT our objective is for the interns to enhance their knowledge and put their skills and education to use. Evaluation will focus on the learning derived from the work experience, not from the successful performance of work assignments alone. The interns should feel free to offer insights and suggestions about the assigned projects or about the organization’s operation during their internship. The Job: As a Social Media Intern, you will: ---Support PR Dept with research ---Write and schedule posts across GCT’s social media channels ---Pull data to inform future content ---Update the content calendar ---Identify new opportunities within the social space ---Work closely with the PR Dept to showcase media and press mentions ---Help the Dept. to manage all of the social media channels ---Be the first point of contact for community members across social channels Qualifications: ---Current student or recent graduate of Mass Communication ---Highly organized and detail-oriented ---Fast learner who thrives in a fast paced environment ---Solid writing, grammar and proofreading skills with a flair for social networking speak” ---Passionate for and active on multiple social media platforms ---Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) ---Experience in WordPress and Photoshop a plus (This internship is paid internship.
