Social Sciences Week 2014 is on this week - 16-19 June - ow.ly/xS12m The week includes free lectures, roundtables and panel discussions. Social Sciences Week is an opportunity for current and former students, and members of the public to engage with the diverse and thought-provoking topics which Birkbeck academics are researching. It also features high-profile speakers Professor Sir Richard Evans (Cambridge), Martin Argles (former photographer for the Guardian) and Birkbeck’s Department of Politics’ first writer-in-residence, documentary photographer and poet Carlos Reyes Manzo.
