Sociality defines human being as a social animal. Man is worthy of that definition. It will become a redundancy if I try to list the human achievements. Man,even though occupies the apex position in the earth s creation, some times,falls far below the fellow animal .level in certain things. Maybe this is due to his complacency. Observe the progeny of any animal! Their young beings enjoy their childhood to their hearts content. In the days of yore, we were also enjoying our childhood. Unfortunately, I dare say,that a child of modern India is devoid of his/her right to enjoy their childhood. The reason is the present days cut throat competition in the avenues of knowledge acquisition to occupy a cherished position when he/she becomes an earning member. It is unfortunate that most of the modern parents are much more eager to push their child in to a Pre KG as soon as the child complete the 3years benchmark! The result is very many KG schools! Parents and teachers, in their enthusiasm to make their scholar a genius are forgetting a childs right to its childhood. Apart from that a strenuous home work! The compartmentation between the home and school is getting narrowed day by day so that the child is unable to find out the difference between the class room and the bed room! When countries like US are able to bid a goodbye to heavy school bags and tedious home work-- then why cant we?! Think it over, please!
