In that one hour, he meets me for few seconds. Hell sit in the gathering, but hes not sat there. Try to understand what Im saying. Even though hes sat in the gathering, he isnt in the gathering. How? How is this possible? Youre all sat here, but your minds may wander outside. Maybe someones waiting? You might have to call someone, maybe you have business to finish? So many people are like this, in classrooms, in masajid, even while reciting *The shaykh fold their hands as done in qiyaam* Iyyaaka Nabudu wa Iyyaka Nastaeen. Im taking Allah as my witness people stand like this, and their minds are outside. We say only You we worship, and only Your help we seek. But be honest, when you read these words, where is your mind? When your brain and heart are in one place in Namaaz, the Buzurg say youre praying Huzoori Namaaz But when your heart is in the market, business, outer conversation, be careful. Pray with that faith, complete faith, that you are talking to Allah. But our state of affairs is different. Its very different. Remember, Salah is the Ascension of the believer.
