Sold a $12 book to someone in Germany. Nice! But... I charged $12 shipping. Printed a label, packed it with some extras (book marks, etc) in a nice bubble mailer with cardboard to make it fold-proof. Drove it to Weis market to their USPS. Turns out they cant do international shipping any more. Drove from way west Allentown through the mess that is center city Allentown to the main post office. Had to pay a buck to park. Had to park three blocks from the post office. Had to wait in line with a bunch of sweaty shirtless dudes. The place smelled like armpit. Got to the window... shipping this book cost me $16!!! I wasted an hour and a half of my life and lost money selling this book. Time to rework my shipping strategy. Ugh. :(
