Some alternator help again, please? Two years ago I had an alternator upgrade on my 65. The mechanic who performed the job installed a rebuilt Bosch AL77X, same as shown in the upper photo. It has a Bosch AL77X sticker on it. It failed to charge after a year and a half. The repairman I took it to said it was a Motorola, not Bosch. Just want to know which alternator you would install for an upgrade. The lower photo also claims to be Bosch AL77X. Maybe I have the incorrect alternator? Thinking now I should have just had my generator rebuilt.
