Some are suggesting that we do not have the holiness to get ito heaven unless we do the prescribed things ourselves necessary to obtain that Holiness. I just listened to that dispicable message on a friends wall. Not only were the sins and the punishment for sins imputed to Christ on our behalf, something else was imputed to us through the efforts and example of Christ Jesus. The fact is, the righteousness that Christ had while here on earth throughout His life is imputed to you, me, and all in the world through our acceptance of Christ and His substitutionary role on our behalf. We who are in Jesus have perfect holiness. What will remove that Holiness is what they teach that we are to do to obtain it. We do not share in His Holiness by our own efforts. Mans efforts and the failure to rest in Jesus will keep us from the promised land. It will grieve the Holy Spirit and the Power we have to remain in the faith. As long as we are in Him by Faith He will guide our steps and produce His life in us until we are fully like Him when we see Him face to face. Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. The term Rest is self defining.
