Some changes in Aisle 1...... We are pleased to inform you that as of June 1, 2013, Upstate Farms will be converting our gallon and half-gallon milk jugs from the current opaque HDPE to white light block HDPE jugs. While we have the utmost confidence in the packaging as it relates to the quality and safety of our milk, studies have shown there is an opportunity for improvement. Light block containers have been shown to reduce light transmission by over 75%, preserving flavor and vitamin content. It is for this reason that Upstate has decided to take an important step to better protect the integrity of its milk from environmental factors and ensure they are providing us with the freshest, best tasting, nutrient-dense milk. The new white light block bottle will contain the same qualitymilk you have trusted and love to serve your families. The only noticeable difference will be the look of the white bottle on our shelf.
