Some days, it really is the little things....I got an entire 55 uninterrupted minutes today to sweep, wash and scrub my floor and windows AND get caught up with laundry! Why is this such a big deal? Well, for quite a few reasons really....eight months ago today, I was so sick I could barely get off my couch...everything hurt...but there was no reason why...it only got worse for the next couple of weeks, and then, by the grace of God and some amazing friends, I began to get better...Lyme is a brutal sickness and can strip away the ability to do even the most mundane tasks...I no longer take for granted being able to get down on my hands and knees to wipe up spilled milk or wash away sticky handprints...in fact, while I am down there, I make sure to take the time to thank God for blessing me with those little mess-makers and for giving me back the strength and my health to keep up with them each and every day! And on that note, I am going to sit down with a cup of coffee and my Bible for the remainder of nap time....my heart is so full of thanks and praise today that I dont even have the words...but I know the book of Psalms will be able to help me out! :) May you all have a wonderful afternoon! Count your blessings...big and small...every single day....dont take even one for granted!
