Some great new read this week with 4 #1s making my top 5 favorite reads of this week. #5 Death of Wolverine #3 (We all know whats going on here, Wolverine has lost his healing factor and how will his last story play out? The last Wolverine saga continues) #4 Last Born #1 (this was an intriguing story of a 1960s HS Senior who wants more from her life then what her aunt has already pre-planned for. She goes out to see what else is out there and what she finds might just be the end of the world adventure she was hoping for) #3 The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood #1 (Prison educator Charlie Wormwood is a good man whos son is critically ill. With bills piling up and finances tight an inmate makes him a financial opportunity he may not be able to turn down. Fans of Breaking Bad should definitely check this one out!) #2 Guardians 3000 #1 (The original GOTG are back and so is Dan Abnett. If that doesnt get you on board then the art by Gerardo Sandoval definately will!) #1 Gotham Academy #1 ( I love it when a comic exceeds my expectations! This new Gothsm based comics reaches out to younger readers for sure but the creative team of Cloonan & Kerschl make this comic very fun to read. We open up with the new Freshman of Gotham Academy and could Gotham Academy be Haunted? Fans of good mysteries like Morning Glories and characterization similar to Runaways will definitely want to give this comic a look.
