Some highlights regarding music for this week was when I watched my musician friend and his musician buddy play in Waikiki. I then got to talk music with his musician buddy. We conversed on composition, rhythms, performance, tone, etc. He then booked me as a guest speaker for his music class that he teaches at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Then several days after that I had a session for several or more hours with a pure drummer at the new studio I teach out of in Kakaako. Im a pure beatboxer and he and I shared different rhythms, genres of music, drum techniques, patterns, and more. We inspired one another and we both happened to be lefties. He was blown away with what I have in my repertoire that he told me he couldnt keep up with the new mouth drumming techniques and patterns Ive developed. These music highlights motivate me and inspire me to work consistently and to continue to grow and learn and evolve as a musician and human beatbox artist. #dailygrind
