Building On your sewing Basics This course is for learners who wish to build their confidence in sewing and have completed the Sewing Basics course. Learners will design and develop a pattern to make a bag. Learn how to insert zips, and create button holes and pockets. Shabby Chic Look at the concept of ‘Shabby Chic’ and how to use various paint affects to achieve a shabby chic finish on wooden furniture. You will produce a fabric item relating to the shabby chic theme Beginners Interior Design An introduction to interior design is for those who wish to make over their homes or begin a career in interiors. You will learn how to use light, space, colour and accessories effectively. Learn how to communicate your ideas to others through the use of presentation boards. Flair for Fashion An art based course in which you will learn how to use colour, design and illustrate fashion items. You will gain knowledge of the fashion industry and follow designers journey from inspiration to end product.
