Some local action updates from the weekend: Jiehui had a go at the Singapore Bicycle Festival 2014 Womens race and came in 1st place - wearing our old Kinetik Edge team colours. Congrats Martha Lee for second place! I had a go at the Mens Master A (yup, feeling older; and sadly, no pics yet) and came up second-best to Junaidi Hashim who got ahead of me sprinting up the last climb; Han Huang came in third! Small dose of morning fun despite having to put up with hell-bent fatbike racer guy on the first lap. Feel that we needed to make the most of our our Saturday afternoon, so Jiehui and I cranked out 16km in a rented double kayak at PA Water-Venture Sembawang in just over 2hrs. Thoroughly tired after that, well-deserved drinks and chill-out with Stan Tan, Chris Yeo, Marcus Reed and a few others from the Altitude crew. Thanks Altitude, Athlete Lab (Singapore), MTBSkills.au - Australias #1 Mountain Bike Skills courses, X-Boundaries, ACE Sports Group (ASG), and Sports+Travel Singapore for the training opportunities and continual support. We hope to get some bigger results soon - and to keep you updated in the meantime on our trainings if we are not competing!
