Some of my critics say i am egotistical. When I was in school some called me conceited. Others said I was cocky. I may have been. Hell I might still be, I dont know. But, writing is a hobby for me. I dont get paid to do it. Writing a blog is Johnny Hill way of doing something as opposed to nothing. I get much support from my Facebook friends and family with my writings and a shit ton of abuse from others who dont share my views. I am a political writer plan and simple. But, to get comments like the following is what makes it all worth while. I was worried my last article was a bit long but the research and topic dictated the wordage. Thanks BR from Milwaukee Wisconsin Brilliant historical telling of a tragic conversion in the South (and beyond, lets not kid ourselves). I dont normally read such lengthy articles, but I read every word of this one-- captivating stuff. You could call it How to get poor white voters in the South to shoot themselves in the foot by voting Republican... over and over again! I think I have the solution. Do to the South EXACTLY what the South did to the black vote. WRITE THEM OFF. Marginalize them. Make every other region of the country ASHAMED to be considered an evil bastard Republican like the slavery-missing South. Theres no point in trying to educate these ignorant white Southern bigots... a better strategy is to isolate the insecure. Laugh at them. The South was wrong about slavery... and (guess what) theyre wrong today about being Republican! Thats what the South does----- they do WRONG. Anyway, great and inspiring article!
