NJY camps is made up of a number of separate camps and always prove popular with heaps of kiwis attending year after year! Some skills the NJY camps are looking for include: JetSki / Lifeguard 3 Females. You would ideally have your own Jet-Ski or have Jet-skied most summers and be a strong swimmer so that you will easily pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification at Camp after arrival during Orientation. 31st May Start date. 1 male starting June 1st. You would ideally have your own Jet-Ski or have Jet-skied most summers. Sailing / Lifeguard 1 Female. You will need to have experience sailing obviously and also need to be a strong swimmer so that you will easily pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification at Camp after arrival during Orientation. 31st May Start date. 3 male or female to start 1st June. Need experience in sailing a 26ft sailboat Lifeguard/canoe/kayak 1 Female. Experience needed and also need to be a strong swimmer so that you will easily pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification at Camp after arrival during Orientation. 31st May Start date. 2 male or female to start 1-June. Experience on river - must be a strong swimmer as you will need to do Lifeguard Certification on arrival (American Red Cross) with rest of waterfront staff. Lifeguard/Swim Instructor 4 Females needed for a 31-May start date. Experience needed. Arts & Crafts / Ceramics 1 female preferred for a 23rd June start date. Major experience in hand building and Kiln use needed. Arts & Crafts General 2 Females preferred for a 23rd June start. Jewlery, painting/drawing, general crafts Archery 1 Male or Female to start on 23rd June. Looking for someone VERY personable! Drama Assistant./Dance 1 Female to start 23-June. Experience in Drama. Dance - must be able to lead classes in Zumba or the like. Mountain Biking 1 Male preferred. Start date; 23-June. Must be able to do general repairs ie brakes and tire tubes 1 Male to start 22nd June. Experience riding and maintaining bikes. Soccer 1 Male preferred. Start date 23-June. Must have coaching experience Computers 1 Male preferred. Start Date 23-June. Movie making on ipad - experience needed. Film Making 1 male or female. 22nd June start date, Experience with production, editing and filming Ropes 4 staff needed, 2 male and 2 female to start 1st June. Experience helpful Skateboarding 1 Male to start 22-June. Experience on street course, half pipes (great if have experience teaching others) General Counselors / Ropes / Lifeguards 4 (2 male / 2 female) aged 21+, multi skilled, June 1 arrival to do LG and/or Ropes certification.
