Some of the needs for the kitchen at Grace House on the Mountain (list not exhaustive): *New Cabinetry (there are almost no cabinets, and most items are stored on inexpensive shelves, on the back tables, on top of the refrigerators, anywhere someone can find a place). *New appliances capable of handing large groups * New flooring *New sinks (current sinks leak as everyone knows) *Complete "gut job" of current walls and cabinetry to determine the extent of known water leakage damage and possible insect problems, and abatement of same *New Countertops *New design making preparing and serving food to large groups more efficient *Gut and rebuild ancient storage areas in the back of the kitchen and in the closet near the front door, so that pantry items and hardware can be stored *New deep freezes for back storage area for long term storage of bulk food items
