The funeral service will be 11AM, Friday, September 20th in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, GA. Entombment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta, GA. Ms. Sprouse was born in Vardaman, MS and was a graduate of Mississippi State University. She retired as principal at Powder Springs Elementary School after a 30 year career in education. Ms. Sprouse is survived by her children, son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Karen Byars; daughter & son-in-law, Charlsie & Mike Mitchell, all of Marietta; grandchildren, Kerri Seagraves, Amber Cowan, Tasha Blane, Greg Mitchell, Brent Byars, Brian Mitchell, Chad Byars; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Carter Edmondson, Martin Edmonson; sisters, Elizabeth Gilder, Katie Havens, Peggy Wicker, Dot Wiggs and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4PM & 6-8PM, Thursday, September 19th at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770) 424-4924.
