Some of you may have seen my earlier post about a woman whose teenage children were climbing on the edges of old platform stones at the Huguenot cemetery and instead of correcting her children she got angry at me and responded like she was on Jerry Springer. I deleted that post because I typed it in the heat of the moment - so taken aback by the rudeness of this woman. So, I want to do this in a calmer tone. We all make mistakes and Im still learning myself about cemetery dos and donts - and I realize not everybody cares like we do... But if youre going to visit these old places please be careful and be respectful, do not injure the stones or yourself. It is very costly either way and in many ways. I apologize for posting in frustration earlier
