Some of you may or may not know that I am currently studying my Cert III and IV in Fitness. Is anyone really surprised? Haha! I’ve learned so much over the last few years and it’s time for me to give back, to step up and lead the way for others who want to better themselves and fulfil their potential. I study at the Beenleigh PCYC (which by the way is an awesome place to study. I get so many fantastic learning opportunities!) Tomorrow I will be working along side a few of my awesome class mates, as well as our fearless leaders, Nate and Brendon, at the inaugural Beenleigh PCYC Fitness Expo. PCYC’s are community based and I love community because it fosters belonging and tends to bring out the best in people. I also love anything that supports health and fitness. The PCYC does both ‘community’ and ‘health and fitness’ very well. Hence why I speak highly of them and want to give back to them. So…. I have put together 2 really cool little raffles. (See pictures for details). All the proceeds raised from both will go directly into the Fitness Training Academy classroom (the place I study from) to provide books, posters and other learning aids that will help educate the students who pass through that classroom, who will eventually enter their/other communities as fantastic group fitness instructors, personal trainers, coaches and health and fitness experts, helping others achieve awesome. Don’t you just love the cyclic effect of community? Yes, one of the raffles is made up of cool stuff that I have handmade, get excited! And the other is made up of fitness related coolness, including one of my famous 1RM Potential Lady Beast singlets. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. If you’re keen to buy a ticket or 10, shoot me a PM and I will supply you with bank details and ticket confirmations. :) Also, after youve purchased your tickets, if you share/tag this post/raffle with 5 or more mates and one of them purchases a ticket for either raffle, I will give you one free entry. :) Both raffles will be drawn on Friday the 7th of November at the Beenleigh PCYC. Winners will be notified via e-mail or mobile. Free delivery in the Brisbane/Logan area. (I will consider posting within Australia, however there are fragile items in both raffles and I don’t accept responsibility for breakages through the post.)
