Some of you may remember Kenton Bell who has been a Helpmate volunteer for the last several years. He also was doing a lot of great research on domestic violence and is now in Australia working on an advanced degree and doing more DV research. Kenton currently is attending the University of Wollongong in New South Wales Australia working a Masters of Philosophy in Sociology. His research focuses on the White Ribbon Campaign (WRC), the world’s largest organization engaging men to stop violence against women (VAW). The benefits of his research include producing practical knowledge of how to inspire and sustain men’s motivations and commitment to the WRC, understanding the challenges men face in the WRC and the exploration of new avenues of engagement in anti-VAW movement for both the WRC and other organizations. He also sent us some very cool photos.
