Some of you that really know me would probably classify it as a miracle, but for the last two mornings Daisy has managed to cox me out of my recliner on the back porch and to get out into the yard and do some work. I need to interject here, that when she succeeds in this type endevor, she certainly gets out there and does her part helping me. Two days ago, she got me to plant two trees. Daisy and I both love watching things grow, but she is becoming somewhat fanatical. She had these two trees which she wanted me to plant, both had been growing in large pots. I told her, that we were just about out of places to plant new trees. Low and behold, no quicker had I got started on planting these two and the mail brought another tree she had ordered. Right now she has it in a pot, but you can bet before long I will have to find another place to plant another tree. Yesterday, she got me out in the yard to cut down two smaller trees (10 to 15 ft. oak trees that we did not like). Maybe she is looking ahead. We actually have a couple of larger oaks, that I would like to get rid of, but at my age, I am not so quick to tackle such a task. I have taken down some bigger, but I was a little younger then. When we first moved here, I took out all the pine trees (probably about a dozen or so), a few of which were pretty dang large. Yesterday, while we were out there, we trimmed some of the lower limbs on some of the other trees. Got a few more I want to trim up, maybe this morning. All of these trees that we took down and the rest I want to trim are all in our back yard, beyond where we fenced in the back yard.
