Some people have told me that my relationship with Michael is soooo cute. That us being flirty on Facebook is adorable. And that how we present our lives for public viewing is something they appreciate or admire. But, many wonder if there is a presentation to it. Honestly, There is. There is some stuff we dont post for the world wide Web of judgemental asshats. But, there is a lot that we broadcast online that we actually do behind the scenes. When Im happy, I talk to him. When im mad, I talk to him. When he wants to play his games, when he wants to yell at me, I know that doesnt mean that we are over. Im pretty good at relationships. More so because friends dont take priority over him. Hes pretty good at our relationship. More so because bros, and video games dont take priority over me. Ive called him crazy and kind of meant it. Hes called me crazy and had documentation to prove it. But, we both believe that who we spend our time with matters. Even watching Netflix together, are more important than our social calendars. We do and say crazy things to each other. We get insecure and uncertain of ourselves. But, wet know when to take a time-out. We know when to apologize. And we know when to NOT make the other person feel like they are taking a backseat to unimportant, selfish things. I love you, Michael. Thanks for being a huge part of my life. And, thanks for not being in fear for making that public. Last, thanks for not letting the people who disagree with this kind of gesture know what I say about them in private.
