Some prominent persons in Kashmir who were requested to join the new Kashmiri organization which is proposed to be formed, have expressed certain apprehensions about it. So I am making this clarification. My political views about Kashmir are my personal ones, and will not be the views of the organization. In fact the organization will not discuss politics at all. Its objects will be : (1) To preserve and promote the rich composite culture of Kashmir, e.g. Kashmiri poetry, music , sufi philosophy,etc (2) To help the people of Kashmir e.g. flood rehabilitation ( tens of thousands of Kashmiris have lost their livelihood in the recent floods, and desperately need help ). I hope this will make things clear. In fact in my earlier posts on the topic too I had made it clear that this proposed organization will not have anything to do with politics. However, I am again clarifying the matter.
