Some times I keep whats on my mind to myself. But this time, at the risk of pissing off my Facebook friends, I think Id like to share this one. With working so much lately I havent really been able to keep up on the news, but on the way home last night I heard a story on sports talk show about Adrian Peterson being deactivated from the Vikings and getting arrested for child endangerment. I then started thinking, Wow, what the hell could have Adrian Peterson done to get a child endangerment charge??? So I listen to a bit longer and this is stemming from him telling his son to go out and pick us switch off of a tree and then he spanked his kid. Are you seriously kidding me??? This is the main reason we have these kids today acting the way they do only giving a s*** about themselves and not caring about anybody else. If I acted the way some of these kids do nowadays when I was a kid, I would have gotten my ass beat daily and it went to have been with a switch, it would have been with a belt! I say good job Adrian Peterson!!! The media today has gotten way too close to going over the line when it comes to peoples personal lives. I never once condoned Ray Rice hitting his fiance thats wrong. But if youre O are going to tell somebody how they can raise their own kid thats when youre crossing the line. There is no way in hell kids today would have made it going through what we had to go through when we grew up and I guess to go along with that maybe if they had we wont be going through all this crazy s*** were going through now today
