Some visuals and songs generally come to the fore on Indian Independence or Republic Day. I may not be expressively that sentimental about patriotism but, in my school days, had goose flesh ( Rongtey kharhey ho jaandey) and do even today,on seeing or listening some of these. Last evening coming out of a mall in Gurgaon after a movie and dinner we stopped at the exit gate to listen the songs playing there as part of the celebrations. .
