Some weeks ago,I published a six page paper highlighting some vivid events which has brought to disgraceful front,the frothful degradation of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education under the current Provost and management. These range from moral,social,financial as well as academic corruption to victimization,intimidation,hounding and undue arrests of some young intellectuals amongst the students,the total control of SUG by madam Provost and co,the incessant exploitation of students ranging from tuition fee to toothpick fee. When I wrote that scathing but factual paper and presented same to the Redeem Alvan Grouup RAG before publication I went into hiding for few days because to my shock,even some students sugested for my outright arrest! Though I fear no arrest born out of contempt for young people speaking truth,I have been there few times. But I asked for what?! I wish to tell the world I thought days of military era had our freedom locked up,now is clear to me that it is not yet uhuru for young intellectuals in Alvan! Hear us now,we are singing with lone voices and parched tongue,our song is simple;a reversal of all outlined above.God save mankind for we all are still learning,all men are.
