Somebody must have taken some crazy pills before they went on the tele because its very hard to explain Gay Mitchells deluded ranting’s any other ways. Not only does he make the extraordinary claim that Ireland gained sovereignty by joining Europe (still trying to get my head around that one) but he also goes on to describe the Irish as Drunken sailors who basically arent capable of running our own affairs hence the need to be ruled by Europe. Want to know the real root problem with Europe? Its not the Euro, or the Lisbon treaty or the commission or the E.C.B. (although there are problems there). No, the real root problem with Europe is that mé féin gravy trainers like Gay Mitchell are running the place, and hence affecting our lives in a very real and problematic way!
