Someone asked a question of me? Why do people treat animals the way they do? It is hard to answer that. Most people treat their furry critters like family. But some people treat animals like property or a fashion statement. They forget they are living breathing creatures who are capable of so much love and appreciation. But some out there get the "cute" pyppy and forget it will grow into a 50 pound dog. They do not think of the future care it will need. So they tie it to a tree and feed it when they remember and forget about it. The lucky ones finally get dumped at the shelter. Others get dumped on the side of a road and others suffer worse fates. The toughest part of my job is keeping a civil tongue when dealing with these kind of people. Somedays I think we are neuteringthe wrong species.
