Someone asked for pics of firepits. Heres mine that I made. There was a hideous wall there at 1 stage & I had an excess of spare slate. It had 4 solar lights around it but my son mowed 1 of them up last week. 1/2 a 44 gallon drum dug into the ground. We have heavy clay soil so I hope it holds its shape after the drum rusts away. Needs some love to fix it back up a bit, but I reckon its a pretty cool set up. I used an old oven rack on the R H side for doing jacket spuds too. 1st pic is today, 2nd is just after I made it.
